Early

-
- Zachary
Williams and Tyson Navarre conceive the idea of ZTNet Web Services.
The goal of ZTNet is to provide a web hosting service for small businesses
in the area of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
March

- ZTNet was
officially formed. The company struggled to keep afloat during its first
year of business, and by March of 1998, had yet to establish a stable
presence.
April,
1998 -
- ZTNet changes
its goals and perspectives from providing web hosting for businesses,
to helping small sites who were in need of a stable web presence. This
was done, in exchange for advertising on the sites.
June,
1998 -
- ZTNet changes
completely over to its new business strategy, and begins to grow at
a rapid pace. Nearly tripling its income in only a few months.
September
1998 -
- ZTNet outgrows
its small home based headquarters, and is forced to make a giant leap
forward. In cooperation with Internet Operations Center, ZTNet moved
to a high-speed data center, to continue providing its customers with
fast and reliable services.
January
4th, 1999 -
- ZTNet becomes
ZTNet LLC. ZTNet increases its customer base nearly 10 fold, and its
gross revenue nearly 2000 percent, over the course of 5 months.
March
17th, 1999 -
- ZTNet re-visits
its roots of web hosting, in a brand new way. ZTNet aims to provide
a service for people looking to get into the internet marketplace, but
without the hastle of setting up an entire internet hosting service
from the ground up.
October
1st, 1999 -
- ZTNet continues to focus on its free hosting strategy. With a move to a new data center, ZTNet is able to accommodate its continually growing community.
